The court will pronounce the verdict on whether or not the prayers are mandatory for Muslim believers. The Supreme Court today will pronounce the quantum of sentence against the Allahabad High Court verdict dividing the disputed land in Ayodhya in 2010 and the vast constitutional bench.
The court observed that in the 1994 Ismail Farooqi case, Muslims could not have anywhere in Nama where the mosque was necessary. He said the government would take over the land that remains in the church. This was done by Muslim organizations. The case was postponed to September 27, when it was upheld by the court.
